Hello! I’m Liz – a freelance graphic designer and illustrator based in Luxembourg. I’m specialized in creating unique visual branding, illustration and surface designs.
Ever since I started holding a pencil, I have been drawing, designing and dreaming of spending my life creating beautiful things that bring joy to people. I'm so grateful to be able to do that today in my home-based studio.
As a graduated communication designer with various instructive internships experiences, I worked in a graphic agency for several years before taking the leap into self-employment in 2022 and launching my own design studio.
Liz Kummer Design Studio is a one-woman creative studio best known for its clean design solutions, strategic color palettes and geometric digital illustrations. From brand and corporate design to illustration design, everything is created with joy and purpose. I love connecting and collaborating through creativity and shared values and I am looking forward to working with more incredible clients. Let’s create something magical together.
As a creative, I have countless projects in mind. My biggest goal at the moment is to step closer into the world of surface design and to see my designs on a wide variety of products. In my spare time, you can find me participating in workshops, getting closer to this goal.

My illustration style
Illustrating is a passion that has accompanied me since I was little. Having started with pencils, I tried new techniques throughout my career until I discovered digital illustration during my studies. Fascinated and inspired by distinct graphic compositions, I like experimenting with simple geometric shapes, a specific color palette and patterns. As a result, I create stylised illustrations with simple shapes that flow perfectly into each other to achieve a complex but harmonious piece. My artistic world is geometric, playful and close to nature.
